Hot summer day results in...

This weekend it got rather hot, been feeling kinda dehydrated and hot while working from home =_=;;; Drank a lot of water, ate fruits and had ice cream ^^

Thankfully this evening is not too hot, last evening was just cookin!
I had to tweak her right eye a bit when I "inked" this out in Sai ^^ so in the end she doesn't look exactly like the sketch I drew ^^; And now that I look at it again I think I gotta fix the stick looks a tad long ^^; But hope ya all like her ^^/

Commission work - Mascot of Gordonator Part 3

Herru, felt like long time no blog ^^; Over the weekend, husband helped me reinstall my laptop's OS, and that took a little bit longer to finish up.

On a better note, Gordon's "million dollar" mascot is finally somewhat completed. Unfortunately other than the million dollar fund transfer, my promised blythe doll in the mail has not arrived yet... (just kidding! :P) So I won't be showing the full version just yet :P
Will be hammering out some details over e-mail later on :3

Finally made a bit of time to colour Gordon's "million dollar" mascot between work stuff ^^;
I left the stuff I don't like to colour to the last (groan) will be trying to work on it more when I get a chance to ^^; Will probably do some tweaking as I go along ^^;

Commission work - Mascot of Gordonator

Made a deal with the gordonator to draw his blog's mascot for one million dollars... (LOL)



Once in a while when I feel inspired (or need some extra cash on the side), I do take commissions for illustration work. Pricing varies with the amount of details, whether or not there's colouring, background involved, how soon it is needed -- meaning the the more work/less time given for me to finish = I charge more etc etc. I do commission work a lot less these days as I am quite busy with my work with cartoondollemporium.

I know some of my artist friends open"slots" every other month open to have people commission them to draw some artwork, but I have not really done anything like that just yet. Other than work based illustrations I would like to have time to draw my own drawings ^^; This is when I wish I have 3 more drawing arms to help me out :P

Sorry, don't mean to drop off the face of the earth like this ^^; Had just been way too busy with out of town visitor and trying to catch up with work and all! x_x
So glad I got a flash doll finished yesterday! I present to you Lollibunny ! I hope you like her!

Actually asked Husband to check her out after I was done, he said with long straight pink hair this doll reminds him of Moka Akashiya (赤夜 萌香, Akashiya Moka) from Rosario + Vampire. I had to LOL when I heard that XD we had been watching the series out of boredom :P
Anyhows the image below is the doll in one of her many changeable get ups ^O^/



Yesterday was my "working at friend's shop" day, so I did some sketching while I was there. Hope to scan and upload soon!

^^; sorry so much food related posts ^^; Ever felt inspired when you see other people's photos? I was inspired by 2 friends' photos about Dutch Baby Pancake so I tried it out ^^

Was talking to a few peeps about giving out stuff (yes you did not read wrongly) on my site, sorry it probably won't be figures ^^; I don't get figures for free (like a certain someone *cough* lol)

Things cost a lot more here than in Asia, and shipping on top of it just makes it not very worth while =_=; I'm not earning a lot (yet), sad to say lol
If anything it might be a publication included an original sketch (or something)... any interests? May put it as a lucky draw or contest :P Comments are welcome ^^/

Also, I must apologize for the lack of artwork these days, just been too busy ^^;

As of this moment, puppy52.com seems to be back (knock on wood) so will be posting there at my usual schedule, but will keep this blog just in case (cos you really never know ^^; )

Recent tactics on danny choo

Danny choo recently unveiled his site mascot's adorable sister, Haruka chan (kawaiiiiiiiiiiii~~~).
We got some secret files from him, so I mucked around with it a bit and present to you...

Important: The original art is by lovely Azami Yuko sensei. ^^;> I changed the face ^^; I hope she doesn't mind my mucking around with her art ^^;;;; I credit the idea for ("she just saw something dirty on dannychoo" look) to fatB -- a member I befriended on dannychoo.com :P
