Happy late Halloween!

Couldn't managed to finish a halloween art in colour ;_;
couple days back, made a halloween paper hand puppet tutorial for dolls tho :3


And a wonderful thing happened this afternoon, my teeshirts I ordered (even before I created dannychoo mascot tees) finally came in the mail ^^; I think it is mostly due to a long weekend "bump" which caused my mail to be trapped at customs ^^; I had people joked that the people at customs were wearing my tees and I gonna get armpitstains on my shirts ^^;;;

So I ordered three shirts to star along with some other items which arrived sooner than the teeshirts. The dark teeshirts take a bit longer to be printed, so the shirts were sent out a bit later. I ordered the wrong size for my third teeshirt tho!  SO, I wonder if I should list it somewhere for sale for someone's daughter ^^; Or something...  Not to worry no armpit stains on that tee ^^; Here's couple pix of me and hubs wearing our tees.

My Meow in box teeshirt is somewhat fitted, and made of a thinner material but it's very soft to the touch and the image is very nicely printed on, almost as if they printed directly on the teeshirt ^^; Please excuse if I look like I am ready for winter (tubby) :P

Husband's Puppy shock teeshirt's print is very nice and vibrant colour, at first we thought the teeshirt was a bit big, but thankfully it fits fine, just a bit long. ^^

I will write a feedback again when I have a chance to wash both tees lol, to those who are curious no there is no armpit stains, not to worry lol!

Any one dressed up for Halloween? Or went trick and treating?
This year me and my husband were pretty last minute -- he bought his "nail thru head" for $5 at a shop during lunch time.  I think he liked it a lot as he was wearing it almost all afternoon, even when he was cleaning in the kitchen ^^; I made mine super quickly before I baked some muffins, we had his siblings and spouses over for dinner (potluck) :P

There is pantsu in full view, so U been warned :P


This image was inspired by something my hubby said when we saw a text printed on the back of a pantsu at a clothing store on sunday lol! It's obviously not completed yet as I need to find time to colour ^^;

Question tho, do you think you will buy a print of an image (full coloured) like this -- as in girl showing Pantsu?

I did of a sketch of chris from cutewithchris.com about a few weeks ago ^^; Got to quickly vector arted it :P I'll pop it in my Gallery when I have a chance later on ^^ Once in a while I do take portriat-ish commissions but I prefer to draw more anime-mangaish style stuff so it's quite rare that I do it ^^; I also tend to make guys look like girls ^^;;;;;

Zazzle products GET!

I purchased some of my own products a while back, they were shipped about 11-12 days ago and now some of them are here -- the teeshirts I ordered take a bit longer to make so they were shipped a bit later, and also due to customs possibly it may be a bit longer before I get the teeshirts ^^; I will for sure be making some notes and posting them here when they arrive :)

The items below individually and appropriately packed/shipped, so they don't bump into each other and get damaged, and these batch arrived at same time ^^/

So far, some observations:
Postcards: Very vibrant colours, glossy finish, matt writing surface. Am thinking to do a limited offer to send a postcard to those who bought the tees from my Zazzle :P but I think I need to order some more first also ^^; If you're interested I made the postcard above a public item as well ^^/

Magnet: I think the magnet piece at the back is not very strong so you probably can use it to temporarily stick a note or recipe or a coupon on the fridge or a metal notice board.

Calendar: Nice matt finish on the images, I find the holidays text a bit lightly printed, bit it is also USA based so I probably won't use it to tell me about holidays ^^;

I didn't have time to compose a calender for puppy52.com just yet, so I purchased a super adorable Hamster calender from Seattle Roll's Zazzle :D You can see more of Seattle Roll's goregous photos at flickr ^^/

Thursday doodles ^^

Today I didn't draw much at the shop ^^; I however did some hand sewing and sketched what I am showing below tho ^^

I remember I wanted to do some schoolgirls art for some products, but I haven't inked those I wanted to colour lol! I have quite a bit of illustration work to do for a dateline so feel a bit burn out staring at computer to cg ;_; maybe I should paint some natural mediums when the deadline's over ^^;

Hi everyone, I apologise again for the lack of drawing updates, Halloween is coming, next comes Christmas which that means I am pretty busy with CDE related work, I had been pulled back into non flash doll related work with CDE ^^;/

Anyways at the shop yesterday I did a few quick/rough sketches :)


I have some questions for you people who come back to view my artwork, I'm curious to if any one of you would buy cards/postcards/posters of my non colour sketches? Or would you prefer something full coloured? Input is greatly welcome :)

Be Zazzled!

I felt motivated by one of my very talented online friend, missmonster, to make a Zazzle page for myself when I saw that she had designed a really neat looking pair of shoes thru Zazzle.

To promote my own Zazzle gallery, the image above's poses was roughly referred from 2 of the models on Zazzle's page ^^. I have thus far added a few tee-shirt designs and fridge magnets, I'll be trying to think of more designs in future (hopefully won't get too busy or lazy :P).  Larger version of the image above can be found in Gallery page or as a text link under the image above ^^/

Currently only Ladies/Girl tees are available, but I am thinking of some designs which hopefully guys would wear -- design may be placed at the back of tee as suggested by someone *cough* -- you know who you are :P

There's something about Blythes

Disclaimer: I know not many people like dolls, and even less so blythe dolls, so I am not directly linking up to the photo which I was inspired from for that reason.

The image below is heavily inspired by a photo of one of my dolly friends took on flickr :)


I would say blythes was somewhat an "acquired taste" for me. My first "encounter" with blythe photographs online was one of her head opened, with all the inside eye mechanisms exposed, not the prettiest image for a first timer I must say!

I was of course rather freaked out initially, but over time I see more photos of blythe dolls taken all over world, going places, wearing clothing accessories lovingly hand made or purchased by their owners, in little photo stories... having different looks and occupations... and I guess I fell in love! :)

I discovered I could sew small clothing for this large big eyed girl with a smaller than barbie body, and realized I found an unexpected muse for myself after having relocated a few years ago, I haven't really looked back I guess! :) Blythe is still my favourite doll so far, why? Big head, check, big eyes, check, barely any nose, check, little mouth, check...! For some reason I can't get enough of her even tho I have other types of dolls in my collection I play with my blythes the most!
